QUALITY ASSURANCE SYSTEM
Manor Training makes every effort to ensure a happy staff team who feel
both valued and a sense of achievement. This reflects directly on the
quality of service provided and is in line with 'Investors in People'.
We have adopted the following to ensure Quality:
Consistency in our training
We have a policy of consistency of courses.
Courses are standardised using lesson books and set exercise pre-loads.
Trainers are provided with copies of trainers' lesson plans, exercise
books and exercises for our standard training courses to ensure that delegates
receive the same training regardless of which trainer they have.
Trainers sit in on each others courses.
There are regular trainers / staff meetings.
Quality of Training
No trainers are used until they have successfully trained at our premises
under the scrutiny of our senior trainer.
We have immediate feedback from post-course questionnaires, completed
by delegates after every course. These feedback forms are scrutinised
very objectively as they are a direct comment from the delegates on the
training course. If there are any points of concern, we can rectify them
immediately.
Our trainers also complete an appraisal form after every course.
We establish regular contact between Manor Training and the clients.
At the start of each training course, the trainer's introduction includes
relevant points from Health & Safety policy such as seat position,
monitors etc., location of emergency exits and the time-table for the
day
The trainer includes a 'refresher' at the start of the course and talks
to delegates to find out what they have been doing with the application
to date to checks delegate is on right level for training.
If the delegate is on an inappropriate level and is likely to struggle
or not going to gain benefit from the course because of this, we discuss
this with them. First we contact the training office who booked the course
and explain the situation. After discussion with all parties, the delegate
is given the choice of staying or returning on another course at the right
level (with no charge).
Trainers' Skills
We encourage teamwork and collaboration between trainers.
All trainers have 'non-training' days scheduled each month for course
/ personal development which increases their portfolio of software trained.
In this development time they learn new versions as they are released
and develop new courses as and when required.
New Trainers
All trainers are given an Induction Pack which provides them with Grievance
Procedures, Health & Safety, Equal Opportunity and Discrimination
Policies etc. with a profile of our company.
